Dr. Geller continues to provide clinical autism training for professionals to learn to use the ADOS-2. Psychologists, social workers, physicians, educators, and speech/language therapists, among others, benefit from this hands-on professional development. Assessment Referrals
If you are interested in obtaining an autism assessment, the professionals listed below are accepting new referrals.
Kara Leslie (children and adolescents)
Kara Leslie is a Licensed and Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who provides psychoeducational assessments to children and adolescents experiencing a variety of obstacles to learning, behavior, attention, and/or social-emotional development. She specializes in the assessment of autism spectrum disorders utilizing the ADOS-2 with the goal of differentiating between autism and other diagnoses. Kara enables parents to have a better understanding of their child’s strengths and needs, in addition to providing recommendations and strategies to improve behavior and learning.

Dr. Julie Linker (adolescents and adults)
Julie Linker, PhD (pronouns she/her/hers) is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been providing a full range of clinical services for over 20 years. She conducts testing for Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and other concerns for adolescents (ages 13+) through adulthood. Dr. Linker takes an individualized approach to each evaluation and specializes in providing a comprehensive understanding of each person's strengths and challenges, especially for more complex situations, such as when multiple diagnoses may be present. Payment is required directly from the client at the time of service, but some insurance companies will reimburse the client for testing fees.

Jen Ramachandran (children, adolescents and adults)
Jen Ramachandran is a certified ADOS-2 assessor. She received her MSW from VCU and is a resident in counseling while working toward her LCSW. Jen has been working with children and adults on the autism spectrum for over a decade. She began as an elementary teacher working collaboratively with the special education department to hold the inclusion classroom. She has worked for CA Human Services as an adult residential counselor for young adults with ASD learning to live independently. Currently she is a child and family therapist at UMFS Child and Family Healing Center, where she treats teens with neurodevelopment differences and trauma in a residential setting. Jen is an alumnus of the VCU VA-LEND (leadership education in neurodevelopment differences) program. She has also recently attained her Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist certification. She has a passion for working with children, teens, adults, and families with neurodevelopment differences.
